Well, I wouldn’t use “Mimi wa netsu ga aru node” but just “Netsu ga aru node” because using “Mimi wa” you are saying that “your ear is having a fever”

For “Gakkou e ikimasen”, I would use “Gakkou e wa ikimasen” or “Gakkou e ikemasen” since it is negative.
