Hi Colin,
The “no” that appears at the end of a sentence (ie. Mada hana ni mizu o yatteinai no) is something like asking a question in an impolite format. Remember the tone for the “no” should be high tone to represent a question.

If I use the above example in a polite format, then it will be :
Mada hana ni mizu o yatte imasen ka?

Hi Tomiyama-san,
Thanks for your comment. In fact I put “を” as “o”. Of course, “wo” is also used for “を” especially when you are using keyboard. However most of the time in writing, “o” should be used.

まだ　はなに　みずを　やっていないよ。
I notice o, wo is used to indicate を、
を　indicate object, in this case を　is suitable.
